College Football Rankings: The 11 Best 11s Week Two
Did you ever accidently stick a metal object into an electric socket while working on a wiring repair job?
Mark it down to inexperience, or to blindly reaching around a corner while on a ladder, but the many years since that experience have not dimmed the memory of my own arm and scalp hair standing on end at the age of 14.
Suffice to say having survived such danger once every effort was made to never be in that situation again.
Perhaps it is similiar to the way followers of the Oklahoma Sooners felt when they discovered their superstar quarterback, Sam Bradford, would be out with an injured shoulder for several weeks.
Maybe it was the way Sooner fans felt after losing to Brigham Young in the new Palace of Jerry Jones.
No doubt the Oregon Ducks could sympathize after losing a "payback" game to Boise State and then watching helplessly as a key player suckerpunched one of the Broncos to earn a year's suspension.
Because of several disappointing performances by members of the week one group of The 11 Best 11s, there will be some movement inside the rankings for week two.
