The 25-year-old Ayew's move to south Wales is still "subject to Premier League and international clearance," per the club's website.

The deal is something of a coup for Swansea, Ayew having been linked to a number of more high-profile sides, per Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson:

The winger netted 10 times as Marseille finished fourth in Ligue 1 in the 2014-15 season, per WhoScored.com, and he will be a fine addition to Garry Monk's talented squad, as noted by Agence France-Presse's Tom Williams.

His tremendous versatility and attacking guile should see him fit in perfectly at Swansea, a side very much on the up following another fine Premier League season in which they finished in eighth place.
