Following New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie's recent criticism of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman from an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio, a Twitter argument ensued Wednesday between former teammates Cromartie and Kellen Winslow Jr.

Winslow has since challenged Cromartie to a fight.

Update: Thursday, June 11

Apparently Winslow wasn't ready to let this Twitter fight end, sending another tweet at Cromartie on Thursday:

When asked about the incident, the Jets CB declined to comment and instead quoted Marshawn Lynch:

Rich Cimini @RichCimini

Jets CB Antonio Cromartie declines to elaborate on his Twitter spat with Kellen Winslow. Jokes: "I'm only here so I don't get fined." #nyj

Before the argument actually began, Winslow tweeted disapproval of Cromartie:

He then followed up with another tweet, which would eventually engage Cromartie in the conversation:

The cornerback responded with some fighting words:

@KellenWinslowJr you wish you were as good as your dad. Have you been to TARGET lately?

Cromartie's Target question is a reference to a 2014 incident where Winslow was accused of masturbating in the parking lot of the department store.

To which Winslow then called for an actual fight:

Cromartie hasn't responded to Winslow's proposition, but the exchange alone was heated enough.
