Women's PGA Championship 2015: Tee Times, Dates, TV Schedule, LPGA Prize Money
One of the biggest weekends in the women's golf calendar has finally arrived, as the 2015 Women's PGA Championship is set to tee off early Thursday morning at the Westchester Country Club.
This year marks the 61st year of the tournament formerly known as the LPGA Championship, but there's never been more on the line. The $3.5 million purse exceeds last year's total prize money by more than $1 million, with a whopping $630,000 going the winner's way.
The world's best have arrived in Harrison, New York, and are already gearing up for a run at the year's second major championship. With that said, let's take a look at everything to know.

Players to Watch
Brittany Lincicome

When it comes to American players capable of ringing in the country's first women's PGA title since 2010, there might be no other player in better position to do so than Brittany Lincicome.
She already added her second major championship title of her career in 2015, winning the ANA Inspiration for the second time. Ranking third in driving distance and fifth in Rolex Player of the Year points, Lincicome is peaking at the right time.
There's nothing more dangerous than a player returning to a tournament after a near-miss, however, and that's what could propel Lincicome to the victory. She fell short at last year's LPGA championship, losing to Inbee Park in a grueling playoff.
This year, Lincicome has already proven herself in a similar spot, outdueling fellow American Stacy Lewis in the ANA Inspiration playoff. If that's any indication, she could be poised to repeat history and add major championship No. 3.
Inbee Park

A third straight title at the PGA championship isn't the only thing on the line for Park entering play this weekend.
Although winning one of the biggest events of the year for the third time in a row would be quite the accomplishment, she can also dethrone Lydia Ko as the No. 1 player. As Randall Mell of Golf Channel reported, a finish of 29th or better could do it, depending on what Ko and Lewis do.
Park is a five-time major winner, but last year's repeat at the LPGA championship is the only one from the past two years. However, she's shown great form as of late, winning the North Texas Shootout in April and finishing tied for fifth in the LPGA Classic two weekends ago.
Teeing off in one of the early tee times of Thursday's Round 1 action, folks won't have to wait long to get a glimpse at the two-time defending champion.
Lydia Ko

She's become the world's top-ranked golfer at just 18 years of age, but New Zealand's most high-profile golfer still has yet to win a major championship. That could all change in the span of the next few days.
Ko has dazzled in her young professional career, already winning seven events on the LPGA Tour and three on the Ladies European Tour. Success hasn't eluded her at the major level, where she's notched a second-place finish at the Evian Championship and finished third at this event last year.
She might have an incredible couple of years to build off of, but she won't find any momentum from the LPGA Classic, where she finished outside of the top 10 for a third straight tournament. If there's anything Ko has proven thus far in her career, though, it's that she can turn it on in a hurry.
