After seeing the New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski have a blast on the show last year, the San Francisco 49ers' Vernon Davis will become the next NFL tight end to appear on the television show Whose Line is it Anyway?.

Davis will be making a guest appearance on this week's episode. The 31-year-old 49ers star will join Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles and Keegan-Michael Key on the improv comedy show.

The new episode will air on Friday night at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on The CW.
