Daily Fantasy Baseball 2015: MLB FanDuel Ideal Lineup for June 7

Richard SantamariaJun 7, 2015

Clayton Kershaw led our team to 41.75 FanDuel points yesterday, putting us in the 80th percentile or better (in most June 6 daily leagues).  Loading our team with value hitters to make room for Kershaw was definitely the correct strategy.

As always, confirm that your chosen players are in their respective lineups, and stay away from games that may be rained out.  An excellent website for lineups and weather is Rotowire.com.

The following ideal lineup is for June 7 and will be for (all-day) FanDuel leagues starting at 1:05 p.m. EDT.

P Chris Archer, $10,200

The Rays young hurler is having a dominant season (2.01 ERA) and has 97 strikeouts in 76 innings.  Archer struck out 27 in his last two outings, averaging 23 FanDuel points in those games.  One of those games was against Seattle, the team he faces today.  Better yet, the righty will be throwing in pitcher-friendly Safeco Field.

C Salvador Perez, $2,200

1 of 8

As long as Perez is $2,200, he will be in our lineup frequently.  The Royals catcher is batting .277 and slugging .440, which are close to his career numbers.  He is a solid offensive catcher who happened to hit his seventh home run of the season yesterday.  Perez will be facing Texas' Colby Lewis (4.48 ERA).

1B Adam Lind, $2,900

2 of 8

Lind's price has risen $400 since yesterday, but he is still a bargain.  He is currently batting .289, slugging .511 and has nine home runs in 180 at-bats.  The Brewers first baseman will be in the heart of the lineup against the Twins' Mike Pelfrey (2.59 ERA).

2B Danny Espinosa, $2,600

3 of 8

The Nationals second baseman is value power.  He is batting .257, slugging .459 and has seven home runs in 148 at-bats.  Espinosa will be facing the Cubs' Kyle Hendricks (3.99 ERA).

3B Maikel Franco, $2,900

4 of 8

Our team is looking just like it did yesterday.  The 22-year-old has five home runs in 83 at-bats while slugging .482.  Franco also has three home runs in his last five games.  We are expecting more value power against the Giants' Ryan Vogelsong (4.26 ERA).

SS Brandon Crawford, $3,000

5 of 8

We really like Crawford and his .495 slugging percentage against Philadelphia's Sean O'Sullivan (5.03 ERA) in Citizens Bank Park.  O'Sullivan has allowed 11 earned runs, including four home runs, in his last two starts.

Outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, $5,400

6 of 8

The Marlins slugger kept his home run total at 18 yesterday, but he remains in Colorado.  Stanton faces the Rockies' Kyle Kendrick (6.55 ERA), who has allowed 13 earned runs in his last three starts.

Outfielder George Springer, $3,600

7 of 8

It's feast or famine with George Springer, but there is a ton of potential.  The young Astro takes his eight home runs and 12 stolen bases to the hitter-friendly Rogers Centre, where he will face R.A. Dickey (5.53 ERA).

Outfielder Chris Young, $2,200

8 of 8

Here is the special of the day.  Young will be starting in Yankee Stadium against C.J. Wilson (3.55 ERA). We may get a home run for $2,200.
