Monday, June 8
The Lightning defeated the Blackhawks 3-2, and Bishop ended up stopping 36 of the 38 shots he faced while playing all 60 minutes.
Bishop played 50 minutes, 33 seconds in the Game 2 victory, with backup Andrei Vasilevskiy spelling him for stretches. Following the game, Bishop was not available, as he was undergoing "treatment," according to Nick Cotsonika of Yahoo Sports.
"We don't know what's up," Lightning center Steven Stamkos said after Game 2 to Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk.
TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie speculated Bishop might have suffered a knee injury.
Without question, Bishop has been a key player on the Lightning throughout the postseason when he's on top of his game. The veteran netminder looked a bit shaky at times in earlier rounds. For the most part, though, he's been reliable between the pipes over the past few weeks.
