NCAA Super Regionals 2015: Schedule and Game Predictions for Sunday's Action
Sunday will help chip away at revealing the final picture of the 2015 NCAA Super Regionals before the scene shifts to Omaha for the College World Series.
After a Saturday that saw the nation's No. 1 team along with two other teams punch their tickets to Nebraska, five series are back in action on Sunday.
Here is what's on tap for Sunday in the college baseball world, and two games that are must-watch.
| Time | Team | Team | Prediction |
| 12 p.m. ET | Louisville | Cal State Fullerton | Louisville 6-4 |
| 2:15 p.m. ET | TCU | Texas A&M | TCU 5-1 |
| 3 p.m. ET | Arkansas | Missouri State | Arkansas 7-6 |
| 7 p.m. ET | LSU | Louisiana Lafayette | LSU 6-3 |
| 9 p.m. ET | Illinois | Vanderbilt | Illinois 4-2 |
Cal State Fullerton vs. Louisville
Cal State Fullerton has a chance to pull off the upset at noon after beating Louisville in extra innings on Saturday.
And in the fashion that Louisville lost, it might be difficult to come back for today's game. After a Mike White home run tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth, Louisville pitcher Zack Burdi hit Timmy Richards with the bases loaded to give Cal State Fullerton the win.
Louisville head coach Dan McDonnell, speaking with Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal, will try to take advantage of the quick turnaround.
"A lot of guys were making comments out there, 'Keep your head up.' You've got to come out (Sunday) and compete. It's a new day. Obviously it hurts when you lose, but this time of year, there's a fine line between winning and losing, so I'm excited we get a chance to come back.
"
With the Cardinals' backs against the wall, they'll need their outfield to step up. Nick Solak (.325), Corey Ray (.324) and Logan Taylor (.317) were a combined 3-12 in Game 1. Look for them to get back on track as the Cardinals force a third game.
Missouri State vs. Arkansas
After being dismantled 18-4 on Friday night, Missouri State has overcome a fair amount of adversity to force a Game 3 on Sunday after a 3-1 win. Matt Hall delivered a gem for the Bears, allowing one hit in a complete game effort, showing D1baseball.com's Kendall Rogers just what he was made of.
Right fielder Blake Graham delivered the runs Hall would need in the second inning with a two-run single in a game that turned heated toward the end. Both benches were seen jawing back and forth at each other according to D1baseball.com's Aaron Fitt.
Slated to host the Super Regionals, Missouri State was forced to become visitors after their minor league co-tenants, the Springfield Cardinals, took precedence over the eighth-ranked team in the nation.
It's time for Arkansas center fielder and Golden Spikes finalist Andrew Benintendi to step up. With 19 home runs on the season and a .391 batting average entering Saturday, he needs to re-spark Arkansas' offense. That's what big games do. They ask the most of their biggest players.
Benintendi, especially with a chip on his shoulder after being shut down by Hall, will step up, and Arkansas will move on to the College World Series.
