Dolphins Kicker Caleb Sturgis Injures Leg Playing Team Kickball
The Miami Dolphins are down a leg for the next month due to a tragic leisure accident that occurred during a recent team bonding session.
The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis will miss the rest of OTAs due to an unspecified incident that occurred during a recreational kickball game organized by a team staff member after practice.
It's unclear exactly what happened, but Sturgis injured the quadriceps in his plant leg during the game, and it probably had nothing to do with him overzealously seizing the moment in a game predicated on leg strength.
