Daily Fantasy Baseball 2015: MLB FanDuel Ideal Lineup for June 4
It's time to double up and start a new winning streak at FanDuel. Despite having a capable lineup, we were still able to land a stud pitcher.
As always, confirm that your chosen players are in their respective lineups and stay away from games that may be rained out. An excellent website for lineups and weather is RotoWire.com.
The following lineup is for June 4 and will be for FanDuel leagues starting at 1:08 p.m. EDT (All Day).
P Dallas Keuchel, $9,800
Dallas Keuchel and his sterling 1.76 ERA will be facing the Baltimore Orioles at home. In his last outing, the left-hander pitched a complete-game shutout of the White Sox. We hope he keeps it going against the team that ranks ninth in the league in strikeouts (421).
C Salvador Perez, $2,200
1 of 8
While he is facing Cleveland's Trevor Bauer, Salvador Perez is still one of the best offensive catchers in baseball, batting .282 in 174 at bats. At the rock-bottom price of $2,200, it's a no-brainer.
1B Jose Abreu, $3,500
2 of 8
Jose Abreu homered yesterday in his return to the White Sox lineup. The Cuban slugger was drafted in the first round of most fantasy baseball drafts but has not delivered fully. While his nine home runs, .286 batting average and .497 slugging percentage are decent, we expect a steady rise across all categories. We think his climb begins today against the vulnerable Yovani Gallardo (3.88 ERA, 1.31 WHIP) in Texas.
2B Dustin Pedroia, $3,000
3 of 8
It's tough to take Dustin Pedroia out of the lineup when he's facing Minnesota's Tommy Milone (4.76 ERA) in Fenway Park. Milone has returned from Triple-A and should be destroyed by the Red Sox.
3B Joey Gallo, $3,300
4 of 8
Let's inject a big dose of excitement into our lineup. Joey Gallo has exhibited tremendous power, launching monster shots in his first two games. The recent call-up will be facing the erratic Carlos Rodon (3.45 ERA, 1.71 WHIP) in Texas.
SS Jhonny Peralta, $3,600
5 of 8
Enough of the middling shortstops. Despite the fact that the Cardinals are facing the Dodgers tonight, we're taking Jhonny Peralta. He leads all shortstops in home runs (8) and slugging percentage (.508).
Outfielder Hanley Ramirez, $3,600
6 of 8
Hanley Ramirez is a solid slugger in Fenway Park, a great hitter's ballpark, facing Tommy Milone. There's not much more to say.
Outfielder Billy Burns, $3,300
7 of 8
Oakland's leadoff man has been exceptional. In his last six games, Billy Burns has averaged 5.21 FanDuel points per game. We could all use that kind of consistency in our lineups.
Outfielder Joey Butler, $2,700
8 of 8
Put this guy on your fantasy radar. The Rays just can't take Joey Butler out of their lineup. In 86 at-bats, the 29-year-old has four home runs, is batting .337 and slugging .547. Let's hope he keeps it going against the Mariners tonight.
