The Chicago Bulls have signed Fred Hoiberg to a five-year contract to be the team's new head coach, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The contract is reportedly "worth nearly $25 million."

Hoiberg, nicknamed The Mayor, has been head coach at Iowa State for the past five seasons. The new hire comes just four days after the firing of former Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau.
