Manchester United Fans Didn't Like Robin Van Persie Praising Man City U9s

Robin van Persie caused some upset among Manchester United fans by tweeting his support for the Manchester City under-9s.

But some must have been unaware that Van Persie's son, Shaqueel, plays for the team.

City were one of 14 teams invited to play at Van Persie's own tournament—a charity event—in his home country of the Netherlands.

According to the Independent's report, ex-Manchester United mainstay Darren Fletcher's son was also in the City team.

But judging by the reaction, some felt RVP had no right to celebrate. Here's a sample of the (printable) reaction:
