Arsenal's Jack Wilshere Criticised for Leading Anti-Tottenham Chant at Parade
The midfielder took the microphone and started up a chant that makes fun of Arsenal's north London rivals Spurs.
Wilshere's exchange with the fans went as follows:
"Wilshere: What do you think of Tottenham?
Fans: S--t
Wilshere: What do you think of s--t?
Fans: Tottenham
Wilshere: Thank you.
"
Not everyone was impressed with Wilshere's behaviour, though, and he was criticised by some journalists on Twitter.
Update, June 1: Arsenal, according to Sky Sports News, will be speaking to Wilshere to remind of his responsibilities after the incident.
As the Guardian reported, Arsenal had to break from live coverage of their parade on their TV channel.
The player himself took to Twitter as well to relay his apologies.
