Ben Ancheff isn't your "normal" athlete. Listed at 6'2" and 300 pounds on the St. Thomas Bobcats' official website, Ancheff amazes fans with his size—and his skills.

As his team took on Lewis-Clark State on Friday night, Ancheff limited his opponent to one run in four innings, striking out five before being removed due to arm soreness. Ancheff made his season debut in late March after coming back from Tommy John surgery in the offseason.

This guy is pitching right now...why aren't you watching #fatguyTD http://t.co/0RGrEM2yYR

We've seen hefty athletes playing unusual positions before—take Baylor's LaQuan McGowan, for example—so Ancheff should come as no surprise. And of course, there's the original "Hefty Lefty", Jared Lorenzen.

Whoever says "Pitchers aren't athletes" obviously haven't seen St. Thomas' Ben Ancheff in NAIA WS. @SportsCenter http://t.co/vdKHTbqMNv

The party didn't last long for the Bobcats, however, as LCSC prevailed 10-7 to win the NAIA World Series title. However, this is the best finish for St. Thomas in school history, which won four straight elimination games to get to the title game.
