Already missing Kyle Korver, the Atlanta Hawks will have to play the second half of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals without All-Star center Al Horford.

Horford was ejected from the game with 34.3 seconds remaining in the second quarter as the result of a flagrant-2 foul while he was tangled up with the Cleveland Cavaliers' Matthew Dellavedova.

As the two players fought for a loose rebound, Dellavedova tripped and fell into Horford, who then also went down. But as Horford fell, he appeared to throw an elbow in the direction of the Australian's face.

The referees went to the monitor to review the play. After a lengthy delay, Horford was given a flagrant-2 and ejected from the game. Dellavedova received a technical foul.

Atlanta held a 48-47 lead at the time of Horford's ejection.

Later in the contest, Cavaliers coach David Blatt defended Dellavedova's part in the scuffle, per CBS Sports NBA:
