As the Houston Rockets continued to get pummeled in the third quarter of Game 3, a fan sitting courtside tried to distract Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.

The NBA MVP—and new owner of the league record for converted three-pointers in a single postseason—sunk a triple and appeared to wink at the heckler as he trotted back on defense.

Minutes later, the fan extended his hand for a high-five. Curry left him hanging.

It looks like Curry had his reasons.
