AC Milan host one final home game this weekend, meaning the fans have one last chance to protest a season of indifference at San Siro. 

Coming to town are Torino, who will likely finish a second straight season ahead of Milan. These are truly desperate times for the Rossoneri.

If results do not go their way, Milan could even potentially finish in the bottom half of the Serie A table for the first time since 1997.

But the damage is already done. Milan have won just once in their past seven games. These final two games are probably Filippo Inzaghi's last on the bench. Milan are actively pursuing a new coach, and the next biggest rumour is Carlo Ancelotti, according to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Marca).

The season for Torino, however, has been a success, and a win over Milan could help them on their way back into the Europa League.

Last weekend at Sassuolo, Stephan El Shaarawy emerged as a substitute, completing his comeback from a month-long injury layoff. He will likely reclaim his spot in the starting XI on Sunday, despite the risk of possibly aggravating that foot injury—which he has done before—in an otherwise meaningless game.

Former Torino winger Alessio Cerci has recovered from his own injury problem, but he will most likely start on the bench.

Three other attacking options will not be available, as Giacomo Bonaventura, Suso and Jeremy Menez are all suspended.

Torino coach Giampiero Ventura has done an excellent job managing and rotating his squad this season. But he will likely be without two of his star front men this weekend.

Fabio Quagliarella is out with a thigh injury, and there are reports that Maxi Lopez just suffered a calf strain, per Football Italia. That takes away 19 Serie A goals from the lineup, which is especially troubling given that Torino have scored just three times in their past three games.

Player to watch

Torino captain Kamil Glik scored in the first fixture between these two sides, and he could hit the net again.

Glik on his own has seven goals this season, more than any other centre-back among the top-five European leagues. He is particularly impressive in the air and a big aerial threat off set pieces, which the Rossoneri have a hard enough time dealing with. 

The Polish defender has also won seven penalties over the past two seasons, per Football Italia, and he will be coming up against one of the least disciplined sides in all of Europe. Milan have accrued 12 red cards this season—the most in Serie A. You can see the inevitable happening.

Glik could expose the Rossoneri for what they are: A sloppy team with a poor defensive record.
