David Luiz Refutes Virginity Reports: 'I'm Not a Virgin'
Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil star David Luiz has taken to the press to refute a report that made the rounds earlier this week. He's no virgin.
Luiz, a devout Christian, was baptised earlier this week, and reports began surfacing, per the Mirror's Liam Corless, that he would abstain from sex until marrying his girlfriend, Sara Madeira.
An Instagram post sparked the story.

As translated by the Mirror:
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).
"How wonderful to live with you Lord, thank You for loving me so much and taking care of me! My life is yours, and I am your servant! You're always in the center of all my decisions! I love my God! Amen."
Shortly after, the same Mirror piece quoted him as saying, "I have chosen to wait," while drawing comparisons to fellow Brazilian Kaka, who did choose to abstain until marriage (at the 2:00 mark).
The reports forced the 28-year-old to speak out on the matter of his sex life.
He told the BBC (h/t the Independent's Simon Rice) that they're simply untrue:
"My religion, my baptism, I'm very happy.
People are saying things everywhere about whether I'm a virgin or not. I'm not a virgin.
Some people in the press don't respect people in life. I can put my head on my pillow and sleep great because I respect everyone.
