Anthony Begins Physical Activity

Wednesday, May 20

According to B/R's Jared Zwerling, Anthony has started doing some running and weightlifting with the goal of playing in five-on-five drills at the start of August:

Knicks fans may still be reeling from the team "losing" at the lottery after getting the fourth overall pick, but Anthony's impending return can provide some comfort.

Injuries limited Anthony to a career-low 40 games last season, though he did average 24.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The Knicks haven't built a team around their 30-year-old superstar yet, so getting him back healthy will give them a much needed boost before the 2015-16 season starts.
