Where Could Brandon Marshall Go?
I've been reading a lot about the troubles with Brandon Marshall and Denver. ย Seems like the guy wants out, and it seems like Denver has no choice but to keep him in. ย Somethings gotta give!
So I was thinking, if Denver wanted to save face and move on, then a trade would be the next step. ย So, who would be desperate enough to take a malcontent like Marshall.
I suppose, just about anybody. ย Well, that's too long of an article to write. ย Maybe I'll just concentrate on the NFC North, my home turf.

Aikman Blasts Cowboys WR ๐ซฃ
How about Minnesota? ย Favre could sure use a burner with good hands and fingers for his bullets. ย Bernard Berrian and Sidney Rice don't exactly strike fear into any opponent. ย That Percy Harvin fellow could be the real deal, and paired up with Mr. Marshall, now that just might be the ticket.
How about Chicago? ย Jay Cutler wanted a say in which receivers were going to get roster spots, thankfully he has since backed off from that bold request. ย Mostly because, what are his options at receiver? ย Devin Hester and Earl Bennett with rookies Juaquin Iglesias (third-round pick) and Johnny Knox (fifth round). ย Not exactly a who's-who of receivers. ย Devin Hester is a great return man, but he has yet to find a true niche as a WR. ย And you might as well lump the remaining three into a viable excuse as to why the will run-run-run with Matt Forte. ย Yes, they could use Mr. Marshall in a bad way! ย Actually, they could use three Mr. Marshall's if they were out there.
How about Detroit? ย I don't really think so. ย The Lions have so many receivers that they need another one like they need another loss. ย No, I don't see Brandon going there - too many other positions to address at that asylum.
How about Green Bay? ย Yeah, right! ย That'll happen. ย They already have Greg Jennings and Donald Driver, plus Jordy Nelson, Brett Swain, James Jones, and Ruvell Martin. ย I'm pretty sure that they are very much set at that position this year - and actually for a few years to come.
So it's down to Minnesota and Chicago. ย If it were me picking, I'd say that Chicago would be the better choice in the long term. ย I'm thinking that Brett Favre is not going to stay at Minnesota much past this year, and Jay Cutler is a long term solution in Chicago. ย Now, would Chicago pony up the cash and draft picks to satisfy both Marshall and Denver? ย That's the million dollar question.
