Chris Paul Jumps All over Dwight Howard to Commit Foul
May 17, 2015
Trying to send the Houston Rockets' Dwight Howard to the free-throw line late in the fourth quarter of Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul climbed all over the Rockets' big man as the two "battled" for a rebound.
Los Angeles faced an eight-point deficit at the time, with DeAndre Jordan at the line. When Jordan missed his free-throw attempt, the 6'0" Paul gave the refs no choice but to call a foul for repeatedly jumping on the 6'11" Howard.
It's the kind of strategy a team employs when its season is on the line.
Howard would miss both of his ensuing free throws, but the Rockets ultimately advanced to the next round with a 113-100 victory.
