Arsenal Beat out Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester City to Sign 11-Year-Old
Welcome to modern football, where the biggest clubs in the country are competing against each other for 11-year-olds.
According to the Daily Mail's Neil Ashton, a host of big clubs were keen on signing Charlie Patino, an 11-year-old on the books at League Two club Luton Town.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City all wanted the player, who is a season ticket holder with Luton, but instead it is Arsenal who have won his signature.
Chelsea actually outbid Arsenal for Patino, but it looks like he and his family are a bit more sensible than the clubs.
Per Ashton:
"Arsene Wenger's side have agreed to pay Luton the required £10,000 compensation to the League Two team to sign one of the game's brightest young talents.
Chelsea had offered Luton double for Patino, but he wants to train with the team closest to his home in St Albans.
Manchester City made a late attempt to sign him, but after discussions with his family the young midfielder will start his career at Arsenal next season.
"
Let's hope he maintains that levelheadedness in his teens.
