Brett Favre - What Was Up With That?
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre decided last night to continue an awful trend in his illustrious career. That trend? Doing whatever he can to damage his legacy. In last night’s game he threw a crackback block that injured Houston Texans corner Eugene Wilson. Luckily for Wilson, it’s not a serious injury.
"“What was up with that? Seriously, what was up with that?”, was Wilson’s civil response to the situation
"
It’s a perfect response actually. What was up with that Mr. Favre?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"“Percy was running my way,” Favre said. “Believe me, I hope he’s OK. I hope it didn’t look as bad on film as it may have seemed but my intentions, believe me, were not to hurt anyone, including myself. Percy was running my way, I was out there, there’s going to be those people who say you should have done nothing. Get out of the way. But I think had I not blocked anyone and just got out of the way and Percy gets hit and gets hurt, I think that looks worse. But once again I hope he’s OK. Believe me, my intentions were not to be cheap. … I’ll be 40 years old in October and was weeding 13 days ago. I wasn’t thinking about throwing blocks.”

This may have been some of the dumbest crap I’ve ever heard come out of this guys mouth.
He wasn’t thinking about throwing blocks? Are you serious? You’re playing for a team that you KNEW would be implementing a form of the Wildcat with Percy Harvin. You knew you’d occasionally have to mix it up with defenders.
You may not of meant for it to be cheap but it sure looked like it.
On top of almost ending a guys season and/or career, you almost took yourself out. You “claim” to have a cracked rib but yet you’re throwing blocks like that? Hitting Wilson and then the ground like you did there can easily take that rib and fully break it, or even worse, crack more ribs.
It’s just stupid. And you know what else?
After the past two off seasons most NFL fans are completely sick of you. On the verge of throwing up every time we hear your name type sick. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve avoided talking about you during each should I or shouldn’t I ordeal.
Throwing cheap blocks like that aren’t going to win the fans back, it’s going to make you look more of like ummm an asshole. I don’t like to curse hear on the blog, but you know what it’s the most appropriate word in this situation.
Keep this up no one is going to care what you did early in your career with the Green Bay Packers. You’ll just be remembered as another stuck up NFL player.
