Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton knocked a ball out of the park against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night for his eighth home run of the year.

In the top of the first inning, Stanton crushed a 0-1 pitch off Mike Bolsinger out of Dodger Stadium that is probably still traveling. The ball sailed over the left field seats, leaving outfielder Scott Van Slyke motionless.

However, it ended up being Miami's only run of the game, as the Dodgers cruised 11-1.

According to Statcast, the baseball left the stadium with an exit velocity of 114 mph at a projected distance of 475.8 feet.

Stanton joins an elite group of players who also accomplished this feat.
