Jose Mourinho Wins the League and Doesn't Earn Managerial Honours...Again!

How successful has Jose Mourinho's title-winning season been with Chelsea? 

So successful that he's breaking his own records. Even the dubious ones. 

When it was announced on Friday that Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson was the Premier League's Manager of the Month, as noted by the BBC, it ensured that Mourinho went the entirety of the 2014-15 season without once being given that particular honour. 

And his Blues side led the league wire-to-wire! 

It's the first time this has happened since the 2005-06 season, when Mourinho's Chelsea won the Premier League and he also never received the Manager of the Month distinction. 

Something tells us Mourinho is completely OK with simply winning the league as a consolation for his individual-award snubbing. 

During his Friday presser, he joked that he should strangle the committee who votes for the award. 

Considering he's also rumoured to be close to a new £42 million contract, via ESPN, it's good to be Jose these days.
