Borussia Dortmund continue their pursuit of European football this weekend with a home tie against lowly Hertha Berlin on Saturday afternoon. 

The Berlin side have found themselves overcome by mid-table obscurity of late, yet with two draws and two defeats in their last four league games, there's a sense that a string of results elsewhere in the table may yet drag Pal Dardai's side into the relegation fight. 

Similarly, Jurgen Klopp will be keeping an eye on how other results are unfolding across the country on Saturday as his side fight to reach the remaining Europa League spot in sixth place. Sitting just three points off the hope of European football, Dortmund know a win could put them in a strong position to duke it out on the final day of the season.

Team Lineups

Dortmund will most likely stick to their usual 4-2-3-1 with Mitch Langerak in goal behind a back line of Erik Durm, Neven Subotic, Mats Hummels and Marcel Schmelzer. 

The midfield pairing of Sven Bender and Ilkay Gundogan will most likely be in effect, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the left, Shinji Kagawa through the middle and Kevin Kampl on the right in place of the injured Jakub Blaszczykowski, leaving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to play as the lone striker. 

In terms of Hertha's setup, we can expect to see Thomas Kraft in goal in front of a defensive four of Peter Pekarik on the right, Marvin Plattenhardt on the left and John Anthony Brooks and Sebastian Langkamp in the middle. 

Per Skjelbred will look to keep things simple in the middle of the park alongside defensive midfielder Fabian Lustenberger while Salomon Kalou takes up his spot as the solitary striker in front of a front three of Nico Schulz, Valentin Stocker and Marcel Ndjeng.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

It seems as though we've been saying it all season long, but if Dortmund are to win this game, they'll probably need Armenian international Mkhitaryan to step up and show what he's worth on Saturday. 

Without Marco Reus in midfield, the responsibility to create and score goals will undoubtedly fall on the attacking midfielder who managed to turn the recent clash with Bayern on its head. This 26-year-old is capable of it. 

Sebastian Langkamp

For the away side, we should expect to see Langkamp put in a solid shift at the heart of Hertha's defense in a game that will undoubtedly see Dortmund throw everything they have at their visitors. 

The 27-year-old central defender has been one of the standout players for the Berlin side this season, and he will expected to offer a worthy resistance to Aubameyang and Co.
