Neymar Spends 'At Least' €2,000 a Month on His Hair
May 7, 2015
Neymar is the poster child of Brazilian football, but that look does not come cheap.
According to a report in Sport (h/t SportsJoe.ie), the Barcelona superstar spends "at least" €2,000 a month on his hair.
It's a jaw-dropping sum for us mere mortals, but it's a bit more palatable when you consider that, according to Forbes, Neymar made $33.6 million last year (just under €30 million).
His barber, Wagner Tenorio, told Sport (h/t SportsJoe.ie) that it is money well spent, as plenty of work has to be done:
When Neymar first arrived [at Barcelona], his hair was in poor condition. He had made too many changes, both hairstyles or colours, that left his hair in a poor condition.
The first thing I did was to cut his hair, and begin processing. Today he has a silky hair.
I do not have much time to work, but I am at his disposal. He sends a driver to pick me up and take me home. It is difficult to calculate the price [of the business relationship] because this service is not available to all, but I do not do it for less than 2000 euros a month.
Nice work if you can get it (for both Neymar and Tenorio).
