Hidden Microphone in Michigan's Locker Room

Saturday evening the Detroit Free Press reported that current and former players at the University of Michigan had went to the media accusing Rich Rodriguez and staff of routinely breaking NCAA rules. Upon hearing this news Rich Rod called an emergency meeting Sunday morning. Here is the transcript of the meeting recorded by hidden microphone.

Rich Rodriguez: Some guys might decide that it's a little too tough or it's a little too hard... it's a little too demanding. I'll give you a little example... Kinda sums up some things. I got an anonymous letter from a parent... Said

 ”You know we're a little bummed out this year the workout program seems a little tough... the boys should get to sleep in on Sunday's. Not work out 10 hours a day..."

Rich Rodriguez: Here's my point. IT'S DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL!!! IT'S THE BIG TEN!!! IT AIN'T INTRAMURALS!!!  YOU GET 2 HOURS BEFORE PRACTICE WITH THE TRAINERS; YOU GET AN HOUR LUNCH BREAK... (Pointing to the staff) THAT'S PROBABLY TIME OFF THEN YOU GUYS GET... AND WE'RE A LITTLE BUMMED OUT BECAUSE WE HAVE DON'T GET TO SLEEP IN!?!?!?! GO PLAY INTRAMURALS BROTHER... GO PLAY INTRAMURALS!!!

I heard my phone going off Saturday night due to an ESPN college football alert. Upon reading the message I enjoyed a good laugh and thought this is why they went 3 -9 last year. I would imagine that anyone reading this would give anything to play major college football. I don't fault Rich Rod at all for trying to make his team better and get a once proud program back to the top. Michigan fans you need to point the finger at your players not your coach. These players need to realize that they play for one of the most storied programs in all of college football.
