3-Year-Old Irish Kid Adam Wynne Is Seriously Good at Snooker
Ireland have not had a world snooker champion since Ken Doherty triumphed at the Crucible in 1997, but they might have just unearthed the future of the sport.
Three-year-old Adam Wynne became a YouTube smash hit when his potting ability was broadcast around the world.
The little lad shows off an array of shots on a full-size table (with the help of a little bucket to stand on), and his family have been overwhelmed by the reaction since the video was put online last week.
His uncle Bernard told Declan Whooley of Independent.ie:
"The response has been incredible. You have to remember that Adam has only just begun pre-school and can't even tie his own shoelaces, yet he is able to handle a cue and pot incredibly well. ...
Like any child, he loves looking at himself, and kept asking when he was going to be put on YouTube. We decided to put together some of his best shots and he loves it. ...
He just wants to keep watching the shots. He has to ask his mother Elaine how to spell his name so he can find it on YouTube.
He is telling anyone that will listen, "I am the champion."
"
Who's to say we won't be replaying this clip back to Adam in the future if he ever does become the world's best?
