Juventus vs. Real Madrid: Goals, Highlights from Champions League Clash

Alvaro Morata struck against his former team to give Juventus an early advantage in their Champions League semi-final clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday night at Juventus Stadium. 

Carlos Tevez took a shot for the hosts and nearly beat Iker Casillas to the far post. 

An outstretched Casillas made the save, but the ball rebounded directly to the man whom Madrid sold for €20 million to Juventus. 

Cristiano Ronaldo equalised for the visitors, heading home from close range in the 27th minute. 

James Rodriguez flicked a perfectly lobbed cross to find an oddly unmarked Ronaldo for a vital away goal.

The goal established Ronaldo as the Champions League's all-time leading scorer (76), placing him one goal ahead of Lionel Messi (75), who faces Bayern Munich on Wednesday. 

James Rodriguez had a fantastic chance to put the visitors ahead, but his headed effort hit the crossbar from close range.

Carlos Tevez put Juventus ahead from the penalty spot after the Argentine was cut down in the penalty area by Dani Carvajal. 

It was his 50th goal with the club. 

Giorgio Chiellini and Cristiano Ronaldo exchanged pleasantries in the latter part of the second half.
