Looking Forward To Wrestlemania 26

The biggest show of the year is Wrestlemania. It is a show watched around the world by casual and die-heart fans alike. I will be looking forward to Wrestlemania 26 and try to create the best possible lineup for the big day in Arizona.

1) Edge vs Chris Jericho: The seeds for this feud have already been set. First, I see JeriShow holding on to the tag titles for a very long time as the WWE will try to capitalize on having Jericho on the so called A-show. If Edge can come back a month or 2 before wrestlemania, I can see Edge and Christian reuniting to face JeriShow leading up to Wrestlemania for Edge vs Jericho. This match will put 2 of the best workers in the business and can definitely take the house down.

2) Triple H vs Batista for the WWE Title: I am predicting Triple H holding the title going into wrestlemania.There have been too many matches between orton, cena, batista and triple H. However, this match we have seen the least of the bunch. Raw is in need of some heels. Right now the top heels are orton, swagger and jerishow against the faces of triple h, cena, hbk, mvp, mark henry. Batista is most likely to turn heel of the bunch because mvp and henry just recently turned face and cena & DX sell the most merchandise. But Batista turning heel or not, I hope we see this match.

3) Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase for the title: We all know Dibiase is suppose to have a face turn leading up to the release of his movie. The obvious turn will come when he becomes sick of being Orton's caddy. Leading up to this match, both of their fathers will get involved in the feud and both will be present ringside at wrestlemania for the match, possibly intervening in the match.

4) Undertaker vs John Cena: The better match I think will be Undertaker vs Ziggler or Swagger but we wont take that match too seriously because we know the Undertakers streak will never end. However, there is one man left who can seriously put the streak in question, and that's John Cena. Cena has been booked as the unstoppable man and overcoming all the odds. I think the Undertaker will be able to carry Cena into a classic match. This is the only match possible as of the moment that can really make us think the streak might come to an end.

5) HBK vs John Morrisson: I think this match can be made with HBK saying that Morisson reminds him of himself back in the day. In the beginning, HBK might be saying it as a compliment but leading up to wrestlemania, morisson really starts emulating HBK which starts to piss off HBK which then escalates into a match at Mania. HBK can play the tweener role like he played this past wrestlemania leading up to the match with the undertaker because no matter what, hbk will always have his fans behind him. This match can tear the house down and elevate Morisson to the elite level no matter win or lose.

6) Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk in an Extreme Rules match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This match needs no explanation. All of us (Especially the WWE) hope that Jeff returns in no time but he'll most probably return at the beginning of the 2010. This feud can easily pick up right where it left off.

7) MITB Match: MVP, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Christian, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy and Kane. For the first time ever, you have 6 wrestlers with a legitimate chance to win this whereas in the past it was only 3.

8) A World Wrestling Classic: Individual wrestlers from their own country in a match to win bragging rights. This can get a lot more people from different countries interested in wrestlemania. The participants I have are Khali (India), Kofi (Jamaica), Carlito/Primo- they have a match before mania to decide (Puerto Rico), Finlay (Ireland), Regal (England), Kozlov (Russia), Santino (Italy), (DH Smith/Tyson Kidd -match before hand (Canada) and the Big Show (after he beats out other american wrestlers leading up to this) representing the U.S. All other sports have the olympics and even baseball created the world baseball classic, so this match will emulate those battle of the countries. I would've had the Big Show vs Shaq but there is no way it can happen at Mania because it takes place during the NBA season. Since there are a lot of participants, I suppose this will be an over the top battle royal.
