Will The Rat Crawl Home To His Master? DA To New England?
Branches of the Bill Belichick coaching trees have crashed and burned so far around the NFL, but there is one prodigal son that might help the old Master.
Eric Mangini reported on the "cheating" habits of one feared and loathed in equal measures, Bill Belichick, the former Browns head coach. Would the Rat come to the assistance of his once mentor in his hour of need, should Belichick's star QB Tom Brady sustain long-term injury.
News of New England's release of 2008 third round pick, Kevin O'Connell, a rookie from San Diego State University, is interesting, as reported here on B/R.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The situation leaves New England very thin at the QB position, and should Belichick miss out on the playoffs for the second year running despite an all-star and veteran squad, it could spell the beginning of the end for the feared coach.
It is my opinion that Mangini would never deal with Belichick and vice versa. But funnier things have happened as stranger bedfellows have snoozed together.
Derek Anderson's $8 million bonus has been paid in March, so that the bulk of his contract is paid out, and he could seek a new contract.
Derek Anderson would then follow the footsteps of the Tom Brady as a sixth-round QB to light up the league. DA is suited to the No-huddle, shotgun formation Belichick prefers and Brady has mastered.
What could the Belichick offer Mangini in return? Draft picks to rebuild the Browns. Those picks will most likely be low rounders, or the high ones Bellicheck has been stockpiling.
Would it take a low first rounder and a second rounder to prize DA from the Browns?
