What Does Jeff Hardy Leaving, and Rey Mysterio's Suspension Mean For WWE

As almost any wrestling fan knows, Jeff Hardy departed from the WWE as of fridays edition of smackdown.  According to his speech at the end of smackdown he wont be gone forever, which is a great thing to hear, but the question remains, now what?

Jeff has been carrying the smackdown main event scene for awhile now with the likes of CM Punk and edge before he was injured.  Now that he is gone, the Undertaker is back.  But will we see new talents rise up is the real question.  With Rey getting suspended its pretty much assumed that Dolph Ziggler will get the title on smackdown this week and most likely feud with finlay over the belt. 

CM Punk is beginning a feud with the Taker but that wont last forever.  I'm hoping the WWE recognizes the strengths of guys like Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison to provide us with some amazing matches in the future.  Matt Hardy is kind of caught up int he middle here, he isnt going to be feuding with punk as Punk is going at it with the Undertaker, he wont be feuding with Any faces anytime soon, so who does that leave? Maybe He and Morrison will go after the tag belts as they have looked good teaming together two weeks in a row, Morrison even performed one of the Hardy's signature tag team maneuvers on last weeks show when he and Matt performed the spin cycle.

The Hart Dynasty seem primed for a run with the tag gold in the near future as they have been all over smackdown recently.  Batista may be returning sooner than expected and they may bring him back to smackdown to beef up the roster.  The possibilty of moving christian to smackdown is very good as he has shown he can carry a brand on his shoulders just like edge. 

As Far as guys like Big Show and Jericho go, they can be possible future champions again as well but currently they are in a tag team program that wont end any time soon.  seeing Jericho and taker go at it would be great, as well as a Jericho/Shelton feud, they already had a great IC match back in 2004 i believe at Cyber  Sunday.

Hopefully the WWE doesnt drop the ball with their top show, smackdown, by making guys who dont mesh well together feud over titles.  we all remember the horrible chemistry kane and khali had.
