Liverpool Fans Organise #RodgersOut Airplane Flyover at Anfield Before QPR Game
Brendan Rodgers may have had a less-than-stellar season with Liverpool, but surely nobody expected an airplane flyover calling for his exit in May.
That appears to be exactly what will happen, however, with the Twitter account @RodgersOutClub leading the protests.
"To those who thought we were joking about the #RodgersOut plane/banner for today: pic.twitter.com/2FK2UyF0dc

And sure enough, it later arrived before the game began, saying "Rodgers out, Rafa [Benitez] in":
"This banner is currently flying over Anfield ahead of Liverpool's clash with QPR. #LIVQPR pic.twitter.com/XOGyA80u0N

A similar message flew over Old Trafford just over a year ago as pressure began to tell on David Moyes. Moyes was given support from the crowd on that day but lost his job not long after.
There was a suggestion that this stunt too might have been the work of mischievous Manchester United fans, but this was denied by the pilot, as the Liverpool Echo reported:
"@Ab_Rafe no it was funded by Liverpool season ticket holders
