Eddie Goldman to Bears: Dick Butkus Endorses DT When Revealing Chicago's Pick

Most NFL players are just happy to hear their names called at the NFL draft. But Florida State defensive tackle Eddie Goldman also received an endorsement from former Chicago Bears linebacker and Hall of Famer Dick Butkus, who announced the pick for the team.

And given Butkus' endorsement, Goldman will also be welcomed with open arms by the city of Chicago. Of course, the former Seminoles star must prove he can be a stalwart on the defensive line for years to come, or people will quickly forget the Butkus seal of approval.
