Twitter Predicts 2015 NFL Draft Top-10 Picks Based off Tweets

It's finally the day of the 2015 NFL draft, which means we will at last figure out where former college stars will wind up.

Many project that former Florida State star Jameis Winston will go No. 1 overall, although former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is also in the conversation. After the top pick, it's anybody's guess as to how the rest of the top picks will shake out.

All of the uncertainty near the top of the draft has created a lot of buzz on social media. Twitter has taken data from the week leading up to the draft to determine the top 10 picks of the 2015 draft. In order to determine which player gets drafted by a team, Twitter figured out which player the team had been linked to the most in tweets. Of course, if the team's most popular player had already been "claimed" by a team, Twitter used the next player in line.
