Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings have a wealth of stars in the side, many of whom have been in decent form in this year's IPL so far.
The likes of Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Smith, MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo have all made match-winning contributions as CSK have won six of their seven matches so far.
Their fielding has been particularly impressive, and it was vital as they beat KKR by just two runs on Tuesday, per Broken Cricket:
They are a quality outfit in all areas, but they have suffered one thumping defeat—to Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets—proving they are not invincible.
Given the experience in the Kolkata side of Manish Pandey, Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa, and the fact that they bat deep—Andre Russell and Ryan ten Doeschate can finish well—CSK will come under pressure again on Thursday.
At Kolkata's home ground, and with a few more opportunities taken, the Knight Riders have every chance of avenging their Tuesday defeat.
A solid foundation from openers Uthappa and Gambhir will be key, but Chennai could well be looking at a second tournament loss on Thursday.
Prediction: KKR to win
Tip: Back Dwayne Bravo to be top CSK bowler at 3-1
Delhi Daredevils vs. Kings XI Punjab
Kings XI have been a shadow of their former selves this term. The consistent huge scoring of the 2014 IPL seems to have disappeared, and they have won just twice in their opening seven matches.
As cricket writer Freddie Wilde notes, there has been a lack of any consistent selection policy this year from the Kings XI:
Their last two outings have seen them lose to Sunrisers Hyderabad and CSK, both fairly convincing defeats, and they really need to find some form to avoid being cut adrift at the bottom of the league.
They face a Delhi side on Friday looking to bounce back from a 10-wicket drubbing to Royal Challengers Bangalore last time out.
However, the Daredevils' middle-order could prove the key, with JP Duminy, Angelo Mathews and Yuvraj Singh all capable of scoring big.
Neither side has really set the IPL alight this year, but Delhi prevailed when they met earlier in the tournament.
With Kings XI in dire straits, the Daredevils have every chance of winning again on Friday, as the Punjab outfit do not look like turning their form around any time soon.
Prediction: DD to win
Tip: Back Angelo Mathews to be top DD batsman at 6-1
