Hull City vs. Liverpool: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream and TV Info
After disappointing results and performances against Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion in the last 10 days, Liverpool need a morale-boosting victory against Hull City on Tuesday night.
Brendan Rodgers' side also need three points to keep their slim chances of finishing in the top four alive—which would put them four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with five games left to play.
"We can only focus on ourselves but we saw last year lots of changes can take place in the last five games or so," said Rodgers at his pre-match press conference, per the Press Association (via This Is Anfield). "We just have to be prepared to give everything to finish as high as we can."

Liverpool will need to improve on their last visit to the KC Stadium, though, which was a miserable 3-1 defeat last season.

They'll also need to improve on the dour 0-0 draw in the corresponding fixture between the sides at Anfield back in October.
Steve Bruce's side need the points for different reasons, sitting just one point above the relegation zone. A 2-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday has boosted their chances of survival—their first win since February.

Predicted Formations

Liverpool are again without Daniel Sturridge, with Rodgers now explaining that the England striker may not even return this season.
Adam Lallana is back fit and came off the bench at West Brom on Saturday to play the last 15 minutes, so he could get a start. It's unclear whether Lucas Leiva will return to the squad yet.
Hull City have no fresh injury problems, with long-term casualties Nikica Jelavic, Curtis Davies and Mohamed Diame still sidelined.
Hull City: Harper; Chester, Dawson, McShane; Elmohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Quinn, Brady; N'Doye, Aluko.

Player to Watch
Hull City: Dame N'Doye

Dame N'Doye scored twice as the Tigers beat Crystal Palace on Saturday—the Senegal forward now has five goals in 10 games. N'Doye will be key to Hull City's survival chances, according Philip Buckingham of the Hull Daily Mail:
"If Hull City are able to toast a third term in the Premier League when the curtain falls on this stuttering season next month, Dame N'Doye might well prove to be the difference between relegation and survival."
Liverpool: Philippe Coutinho

Fresh from being named in the PFA Team of the Year, Philippe Coutinho will be key for Liverpool if they are to find the inspiration in the attacking third.
The Brazilian playmaker has often proven the man to provide the bit of magic that breaks down stubborn defences this season, scoring winning goals at Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City in 2015.
Key Battle
Wide Areas
With Hull sporting a 3-5-2 formation, the wide areas will be key against Liverpool. The Tigers have good width and crossing from wing-backs Ahmed Elmohamady and Stephen Quinn. They could cause problems for Liverpool if they're allowed to cross for the in-form N'Doye.

Liverpool could also opt for wing-backs, or stick with the 4-3-3 they used against West Brom. In which case Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe could cause problems for the home side with their pace and energy.
Rodgers may also bring Alberto Moreno back into the fold and return to 3-4-2-1.
The wide areas of the pitch could be where this game is won and lost.
