Notre Dame Football Recruiting Offers of the Week
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — With the spring evaluation period in full gear, the Notre Dame football staff dished out a few more offers this past week.
Each week, we’ll be keeping tabs on the new scholarship offers sent out by the Notre Dame coaches, tracking the recruiting process as the Irish focus their attention toward the 2016, 2017 and maybe even 2018 classes.
Chacho Ulloa
Class of 2016 safety Chacho Ulloa landed an Irish offer on Friday as part of his visit to campus:
"Everyone says Count your blessings, I'm counting my 14th. Want to thank God, just received an offer from Notre Dame! pic.twitter.com/D3OoV4TrOi

Ulloa and other prospects from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes visited South Bend over the weekend, with B2G Sports hosting a seven-on-seven tournament in Chicago.
"It’s going to be a great day here at Notre Dame hosting some of the nation’s best! #CaliforniaLove
— Coach Mike Sanford (@CoachSanfordND) April 24, 2015"
The 3-star Corona, California, native checks in as the No. 40-ranked safety and No. 634-ranked overall prospect in the nation. Ulloa has also recently nabbed offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State, Boston College, Vanderbilt and Stanford, among others.
“It was great and the offer is big,” Ulloa told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong. “Biggest one I’ve gotten since Stanford. It’s just a great vibe and tradition that comes with it. They’re similar in some ways, but Notre Dame just comes with such a rich tradition and history.”
The Irish have now extended offers to 15 safeties in the 2016 class. Of the 15, 10 are uncommitted.
Jalen Hall
Notre Dame handed out its first offer of the 2018 recruiting class on Friday when it reached out to wide receiver Jalen Hall, who was visiting campus:
UCLA became the first team to offer the Los Angeles product in November, and Utah, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Washington followed suit by the year’s end. Since the turn of the calendar, South Carolina, USC and Mississippi State have jumped into the mix with offers, too.
Hall is listed at 6’3”, 175 pounds.
He spoke with 247Sports' Tom Loy about offer:
"I’m excited. All of my offers are a blessing. I’m so young and can’t go anywhere anytime soon, but the fact that Notre Dame wants me and my boys makes me feel good. It lets me know that I’m doing something right and my hard work isn’t going unnoticed.
My goal is to be the No. 1 wide receiver in the country. I work hard to beat that. Also, I want to be the top in my class academically. I do it for my little brothers. I want them to see that I am a good big brother and a good example of what hard work brings.
