British PM David Cameron Forgets Which Football Team He Supports During Speech
It is always pretty cringeworthy when politicians start talking about football and clips like this are not going to help.
When giving a speech on multiculturalism in Britain, Prime Minister David Cameron said that Britain was a country where you could support Manchester United, the West Indies cricket team and Team GB all at the same time before joking: "Of course I'd rather you supported West Ham."

That "joke" only works, of course, if Cameron actually supported West Ham but he has instead said on many occasions that Aston Villa—who, like West Ham, wear claret and blue—was his favourite team.
To be fair to Cameron, he did later admit that he made a mistake and clarified that he has not changed his football team.
He said, as per the Guardian:
"I had what Natalie Bennett described as a brain fade.
I’m a Villa fan ... I must have been overcome by something ... this morning.
But there we are, these things sometimes happen when you are on the stump.
