Mayweather vs Pacquiao Undercard: Live Results and Highlights for Every Fight

In the co-feature, unified super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz remained undefeated by pounding out a unanimous decision win over little known Jose Cayetano in a 10-round featherweight bout.

Santa Cruz (30-0-1, 17 KO) slugged with Cayetano all night but couldn’t get his opponent out of there. It was a typical fight for the rising Mexican star who hit and got hit plenty in a dominant but unimpressive performance.

Vasyl Lomachenko put on a show in the opening bout of the PPV telecast, demolishing a game but overmatched Gamalier Rodriguez by ninth-round knockout to retain his WBO Featherweight Championship.

Lomachenko (4-1, 2 KO) demonstrated the quick, precision combination punching that has become the trademark of his professional career since making the jump from the amateurs last year.

He started the fight by attacking the body to soften his man up before bringing the attack upstairs. Rodriguez was down in Rounds 7 and 9 and had a pair of points deducted for low blows before finally taking a 10 count to end the fight.
