IPL 2015: Highest Run-Scorers, Wicket-Takers, More After Rajasthan vs. Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore shocked the Indian Premier League with an emphatic nine-wicket win over league leaders Rajasthan Royals on Friday, taking advantage of a slow wicket to restrict their opponents to a low total before chasing it down with just three batsmen.
Bangalore have won just two matches all season but don't sit too far out of the play-off race, and a big win over Rajasthan may be exactly what the team needed in order to jump-start their campaign.
Royals still lead the table but have looked vulnerable the past week, opening the door for the likes of Chennai Super Kings to take advantage and maybe even grab the top spot in the coming days.
Here are your top performers of the 2015 IPL season, so far.

Mitchell Starc Keeps Rajasthan in Check
Following another spectacular showing, Mitchell Starc now ranks second among all IPL bowlers in economy rate. Taking three wickets while surrendering just 22 runs in four overs will do that for you.
The Australian fast bowler led the way for Bangalore on a slow wicket that favoured the spinners, and it was his bombarding of Rajasthan's batsmen that kept them honest and opened the doors for his team-mates to take advantage.
Royals came into this match having lost only once and keeping the league leaders to a measly 130 runs is some performance. With Starc in the form of his life, Bangalore's bid to make the IPL play-offs suddenly looks alive and well. He wasn't the only bright spot from Friday's contest, after all.
Bangalore Trio Find Consistency
The returning Chris Gayle no doubt aided Bangalore's chase tremendously, but Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers outshone their star team-mate Friday. ESPN Cricinfo's Freddie Wilde was glad to see the team finally stick with the trio at the top of the order:
"I really hope #RCB persist with Gayle, Kohl & ABdV at 1, 2 & 3 & this isn’t a one-off. If anything they need the stability. #IPL #RRvRCB #RR
— Freddie Wilde (@fwildecricket) April 24, 2015"
Consistency has been the main issue for Royal Challengers early in the season, and on Friday, their three veteran stars looked as if they had finally found a system they felt comfortable with. Sure, the low target of 130 certainly helped, but after the superb display of Bangalore's bowlers, the batsmen finally looked as if they had everything under control, as well.
If Bangalore is to have any hope of actually making the play-offs, it will likely depend on the bats of Gayle, Kohli and De Villiers.
