Nikki Bella vs. Naomi: Winner and Reaction from WWE Extreme Rules 2015
Nikki Bella has been the queen bee of the Divas division for the past five months, and she proved why Sunday night at Extreme Rules by retaining the Divas Championship against Naomi, landing the win via the Rack Attack.
Since winning the title from AJ Lee at Survivor Series, Nikki has preached her own vision of what a Diva should be. Her twin sister, Brie, has been right by her side, and it is fair to say that they haven't made many friends along the way. Brie helped assist her sister, and that didn't sit well with Naomi:

Nikki continues to rack up wins and looked impressive in the process. Pro Wrestling World put into perspective just how long her reign as champion has lasted:
"Nikki Bella's current title reign at 155+ days is longer than Paige's both reigns combined (119 days). http://t.co/zspBLvaGUF

Brie congratulated her sister on Instagram after the match:
A new force has emerged in recent weeks, however, in the form of Naomi. The former Funkadactyl has long been known as a happy-go-lucky babyface who dances her way down the aisle, but she underwent a transformation a few weeks ago. She had a new look for Sunday night's match, per the WWE Diva's account:
WWE announcer Jim Ross approved of her new style:
Despite beating Nikki on multiple occasions, Naomi was forced to take part in a Battle Royal for the No. 1 contendership. After Paige eliminated her, Naomi snapped and attacked the self-professed Anti-Diva.
According to WWE Universe on Twitter, Naomi was tired of being taken advantage of due to her friendly disposition:
With Paige out of action, Naomi became Nikki's new Extreme Rules opponent, which set the stage for what promised to be a competitive matchup.
The Bella Twins have made great strides as in-ring competitors over the past couple of years, and that is a big reason why they have been chosen as the chief representatives of the Divas division.
Naomi traditionally hasn't gotten as much screen time or notoriety. But she is arguably the most athletic Diva on the entire roster, and she is capable of doing things in the ring that few others can replicate.
Despite Naomi's new attitude and previous success against her, Nikki entered Extreme Rules bound and determined to maintain her position as the No. 1 Diva in WWE:
Nikki was true to her word as she vanquished Naomi and extended what is now the sixth-longest reign in the seven-year history of the Divas Championship.
Perhaps most importantly, though, both Nikki and Naomi acquitted themselves well in the ring and showed the WWE higher-ups that Divas are deserving of being featured heavily within the product.
There are plenty of talented women on the main roster and developing in NXT. Nikki and Naomi are near the top of that list, and they proved why at Extreme Rules.
Nikki will remain the Divas champion for now, but with so many hungry challengers waiting in the wings, her reign is anything but safe.
