Manny Pacquiao Sings and Receives Advice from Dr. Phil on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
With the days counting down to their shouldโve-happened-eight-years-ago mega-superfight, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are on the mass media warpath.
While Mayweather is figuratively upending boxingโs coffee table and telling everyone heโs greater than Muhammad Ali, Pacquiao is taking a more reserved, sing-song approach.
The Filipino boxer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night and serenaded the crowd with an adrenaline-soaked rendition of the song he penned for his walkout against Mayweather. Soak it in.
This was a marked improvement from Pacquiaoโs performance on The Dan Le Batard Show last week, when he made the fatal flaw of going a capella and staring deeply into Bomani Jonesโ eyes:
Pacquiaoโs appearance on Kimmel also featured a sit-down with Dr. Phil, who offered some sage advice for the 36-year-old pugilist:
โIโm asking you, Manny. Why do you feel compelled to fight Floyd Mayweather?โ Phil asked.
โBecause Iโm being paid millions of millions of millions of millions of dollars,โ Pacquiao responded.
โYou know what? In that case, just go beat the s--t out of him,โ Phil said.
Just remember, kids: Violence is wrong and badย unless it pays well.ย Words to live by.
Dan is on Twitter. Get money, get paid. Punch Floyd.
