Manny Pacquiao Sings and Receives Advice from Dr. Phil on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Dan CarsonApr 23, 2015

With the days counting down to their should’ve-happened-eight-years-ago mega-superfight, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are on the mass media warpath.

While Mayweather is figuratively upending boxing’s coffee table and telling everyone he’s greater than Muhammad Ali, Pacquiao is taking a more reserved, sing-song approach.

The Filipino boxer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night and serenaded the crowd with an adrenaline-soaked rendition of the song he penned for his walkout against Mayweather. Soak it in.

This was a marked improvement from Pacquiao’s performance on The Dan Le Batard Show last week, when he made the fatal flaw of going a capella and staring deeply into Bomani Jones’ eyes:

Pacquiao’s appearance on Kimmel also featured a sit-down with Dr. Phil, who offered some sage advice for the 36-year-old pugilist:

“I’m asking you, Manny. Why do you feel compelled to fight Floyd Mayweather?” Phil asked.

“Because I’m being paid millions of millions of millions of millions of dollars,” Pacquiao responded.

“You know what? In that case, just go beat the s--t out of him,” Phil said.

Just remember, kids: Violence is wrong and bad unless it pays well. Words to live by.

Dan is on Twitter. Get money, get paid. Punch Floyd.
