Ashish Nehra Puts On Bowling Clinic
Ashish Nehra's final figures from Wednesday's win over Royal Challengers Bangalore were good enough to rank as the new top bowling figures of this year's IPL. The lefty fast bowler took four wickets and gave up just 10 runs in four overs for an economy rate of 2.50. His 15 dot balls also made him Chennai Super Kings' stingiest bowler, with one more than Ishwar Pandey.
Nehra has been one of the most consistent bowlers of this year's IPL and yet another weapon in Chennai's impressive arsenal. Former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar reserved some high praise for the way he continues taking risks with full deliveries:
Ashish Nehra's wickets are Bravery Awards. One of the few bowlers brave enough to keep bowling fuller length deliveries. #IPL #CSKvsRCB

The veteran hasn't been a regular member of India's national team for years, and the way he is turning his career around is remarkable, to say the least. Nehra has always been a good bowler when it came to limiting runs, but if the wickets continue to fall like this, he'll be one of Men in Blue's leading figures again before long.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Openers Trash Kolkata Knight Riders
Shikhar Dhawan (54) and David Warner (91) put Kolkata in an early hole on Wednesday, as Hyderabad cruised to a comfortable 16-run win in a rain-shortened match.
The duo are quickly becoming the top openers in this year's IPL, a massive weapon in the Twenty20 format. Faced with the pressure of matching Sunrisers' huge score, veteran stars like Gautam Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan simply couldn't cope with the pressure, as both managed only single-digit runs.
Hyderabad moved up to fourth place in the standings with the win, and if Warner and Dhawan keep up their heroics, a play-off spot seems almost inevitable.
