Brett Favre To NFC North Opponents, NFL: Get Off My Lawn!
Brett Favre recently returned to the National Football League, after much soul searching. Or more accurately, after much Google searching that revealed Michael Vick's name briefly topping his own. Let's take a look at the impact his return has had on the NFC North:
The Vikings-Favre's debutante-like flirtations with the Vikings have left the team and their fans in a state of fluctuation. The on-again, off-again QB controversy between Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels, has been downgraded to a clipboard-holder controversy. Both of the backups for the 'Colossal Fossil' have their supporters, with many fans believing Jackson to be quicker and more agile, while others think the name 'Sage Rosenfels' sounds "more Viking-y".

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Packers-Both the Packers organization and their fan base are on a grueling conditioning program, that focuses mainly on running up and down the seven steps of grief. Packer fans fierce loyalties have been tested to their breaking point, with half of them rending their #4 jerseys in anguish, the other half trying vainly to paint Vikings horns on the shoulders. The Green Bay faithful haven't faced this kind of moral dilemma about a creature in purple, since MacDonald's dropped the word "Evil" from the front of the Grimace's name.
The Lions-Detroit, enmeshed in a QB contoversy of their own, have shown little interest in the return of Brett Favre. With wily veteran and one-time Viking Daunte Culpepper and first round draft pick Matt Stafford in a head-long battle to see who will carry Detroit into it's annual enthusiasm for hockey season.
The Bears-The Monsters of the Midway, who have a long, bitter history of facing Favre twice a year, no longer fear Brett they way they used to. Although he's scored the 4th most points of any QB in Soldier Field, the Bears and their fans feel they've got their own savior at the helm this year, and his initials are even JC! This looks like a promising year for Lovie & Co., and their inevitable demise will be especially harsh and surprising for their fans.
