Memphis Depay 'A Young Cristiano Ronaldo,' According to Ronald De Boer
Manchester United target Memphis Depay has been favourably compared with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Netherlands and Ajax legend Ronald de Boer.
The 21-year-old Depay has been integral to PSV Eindhoven's Eredivisie win this season—scoring 20 goals, per WhoScored.com—and he is now set for a potential £25 million move to Old Trafford in the summer, per The Guardian's Jamie Jackson.
De Boer believes that his fellow Dutchman is one of Europe's biggest talents, comparing Depay's set of skills with that of Ronaldo in his youth while talking on Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, per talkSPORT's Alex Varney:

"He is one of the biggest talents in Europe. He has skill compared to a young Cristiano Ronaldo. He Is very lively, technically unbelievable, very skilful, very fast, he has a great goalscoring record, he can shoot from every distance - he has everything. For me, he is without doubt one of the best talents we have.
"
United are in the driving seat to sign Depay. Louis van Gaal worked with the youngster at the 2014 World Cup when in charge of the Dutch national team, per Dutch football expert Elko Born:
However, as reported by Simon Jones on MailOnline, Liverpool and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are set to also go in for Depay in the summer.
After they wrapped up the league title on Saturday, PSV coach Phillip Cocu resigned himself to the fact that Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum will both leave PSV in the summer, per The Independent's Simon Rice.
"The chance is really good that they'll both go. But I do hope we'll be able to keep the rest of the team," Cocu said.
Clearly, De Boer believes that Depay has the potential to be a world-class player, and United will have to agree if they are to stump up the proposed £25 million to sign him.
