Juventus' official Twitter feed reported that Vidal was starting vs. Monaco.

On April 21, Ben Gladwell of ESPN FC reported that the Bianconeri general could miss out on the second-leg encounter after scoring from the penalty spot to give Massimiliano Allegri's men a 1-0 aggregate lead in last week's reverse fixture:

Chile international Vidal missed a Serie A encounter against Hellas Verona earlier this term after coming down with "acute tonsillitis," per Gladwell's report.

With Paul Pogba already on the sidelines, the South American's absence would create a conundrum for Allegri, who is looking to lead his club into the European semi-finals for the first time since 2002.
