Vidal Starts vs. Monaco

Wednesday, April 22

Juventus' official Twitter feed reported that Vidal was starting vs. Monaco.

On April 21, Ben Gladwell ofย ESPN FCย reported thatย the Bianconeri general could miss out on the second-leg encounter after scoring from the penalty spot to give Massimiliano Allegri's men a 1-0 aggregate lead in last week's reverse fixture:

Chile international Vidal missed a Serie A encounter against Hellas Verona earlier this term after coming down with "acute tonsillitis," per Gladwell's report.

With Paul Pogba already on the sidelines, the South American's absence would create a conundrum for Allegri, who is looking to lead his club into the European semi-finals for the first time since 2002.
