1 of Matt Barnes' Sons Went to Dress-Up Day at School as Stephen Curry
Being the child of a professional athlete sounds like a cushy gig.
You get to go to games for free and get all sorts of cool gear. Adults on sports websites write stories about how awesome and precious a human being you are, if you're into that.
But then there are the rough patches, which include, but are not limited to, becoming old enough to begin idolizing athletes that aren't your mother or father.
This is Isaiah Barnes' current problem. The youngster and his twin brother Carter had to dress up for school Friday morning as someone they look up to, and the prompt left them with some tough wardrobe choices to make.
Their father, Los Angeles Clippers defensive specialist/pit bull Matt Barnes, posted a picture to Instagram of their decided ensembles. Carter dressed up as Dad, and, well, Isaiah dressed up as the guy who makes Dad's life hell on multiple occasions throughout the year.
Yup, Isaiah put on a Stephen Curry kit, and he seems rather proud of it. Dad wasn't quite as thrilled:
"2day for school the boys had to dress up as someone they look up too.. Carter chose daddy & the clippers, Isaiah chose steph curry & the warriors 😳. Can you guess witch kid will be up for adoption nxt week?? Lol JUST KIDSING😂😂 tag someone you love that cheers for the wrong team.... #ThankGodTheirsTwo
"
They have to grow up and be their own people one day, right?
Speaking of grown-up stuff, how about Barnes having Ciroc, Jack Daniels and an Ace of Spades bottle just casually sitting out on the bar? That's aggressive.
Anyway, stay strong, Isaiah. And start packing a bindle.
Dan is on Twitter. Chef Curry strikes again.
