WWE Extreme Rules 2015: Undercard Matches Fans Deserve to See
After one of the most memorable WrestleManias in recent history, the WWE will attempt to follow up the pay-per-view with the 2015 edition of Extreme Rules at the Allstate Arena outside Chicago, Illinois.
While the top of the card has already been booked for the most part, there are several feuds boiling below the surface that deserve marquee matches at the April PPV.
Here are the undercard matches fans deserve to see at Extreme Rules.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper
The storyline behind this match is that Luke Harper hurt Dean Ambrose in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania. While I'd love to complain about the build, I can't wait to see these two maniacs step into the ring against each other.
Ambrose is one of the wildest performers in the business and can tell a story in the ring and with his facial expressions like few others. On the other hand, Harper is incredibly talented for a man his size, and the resulting match will be top-notch.
The lack of a memorable storyline could hurt the quality of the match for some fans, but on a card full of WrestleMania rematches, this is something fresh and different from what the WWE Universe has grown accustomed to seeing.
For a match with no expectations, it could be a Match of the Night candidate.
Miz vs. Mizdow
The feud between Miz and Damien Mizdow has become a double-edged sword for wrestling fans.
On one hand, the program between the two midcard talents was arguably the most entertaining storyline in the company during the months heading into WrestleMania. Unfortunately, the breakup has been booked terribly, and the resulting PPV match will suffer.
The WWE Universe deserves to finally see Mizdow get his big victory over The Miz, but this will be the third time fans will see this match in less than four weeks. That's the definition of hot-shot booking.
Mizdow needs the victory, and he needs a storyline that can capitalize on the momentum he has built with the fans. Beating Miz at Extreme Rules should be the start of a stellar midcard run for Mizdow.
Cesaro and Kidd vs. Lucha Dragons
Cesaro and Tyson Kidd have been one of the most entertaining duos in recent memory, and the addition of Natalya has made them the ideal champions. At Extreme Rules, Kidd and Cesao should defend against the Lucha Dragons.
With The Usos out of contention and no other face tag team being anywhere near legitimate enough, the only viable option will be to give Kalisto and Sin Cara a tag team title shot. It may be rather quick, but the Lucha Dragons don't have to win.
Kidd and Cesaro could easily use dirty tactics to steal the victory and retain the titles, but the match could be one of the best on the card. Expectations for a match built this quickly wouldn't be high, but the performances in the ring could steal the show.
